“We rescued interviews from storage lockers, then found that the tapes didn’t work unless we brought in teams of technicians to try to bring them back to life. We sent out a call for submissions to a million Facebook followers. We got all of these home movies that had never been seen or transferred from Super 8. It was a great scavenger hunt that yielded artifacts that are going to be exciting for anyone to see.”
